Morning cuppa

Mmmmm...

There's nothing like a morning cup of coffee to start the day.

Except...

I think the caffeine all went to my tail!
(Remember this?)

So much for my Easy Sunday...

(Monday afternoon...)

What did you say, mom?  The rug's flipped out again?

I know it's supposed to be over by the window (and right-side up).
I don't know what's going on!

Marketplace Monday: how to be seen

We're joining Roo's Marketplace Monday Blog Hop!***

It always seems that I have to walk my mom at night.  Early evenings in the summertime are too hot and buggy, then the days are just too short in the winter.  Since I'm a black Lab, mom wants us to be safe and seen.

Check out this add we found...

The collar slips on over your head and turns on based on the collar's orientation (it isn't meant to be used for a leash attachment).  It's 100% waterproof, and if you check out the website, you'll see some videos of pups playing in the water with these collars.  They say it has "superior visibility at night or in low-light situations."  There are also a lot of color choices, for the fashion concious :).

Mind you, this does cost a fair few green papers and mom hasn't gotten us one yet.  We're just sharing what we think is a cool, quality safety product based on the web site information.

In the meantime, I use a Ruffwear Beacon light clipped to my harness and a lighted collar cover that mom found for me here.

This is what I look like at night...

Bol!
Be safe, everybuddy!
woofs,
Wriggley

Whattaya know!

We're addictive! :-)

Our furriends Dave and Zim gave us the Addictive Blog Award.  How cool is that?!?!  Thanks, pups!  and they said it was for ALL of us, especially even me, although I'm technically not a Fraidy Cat...

I'm supposed to tell you how we, um, ok, my kitty sisters, started blogging.  Well, our mom started a blog a few years ago as a way to chronicle our antics - she said to "bore the world and no one at the same time", so to speak.  Somehow the cats got on the computer and found the Cat Blogosphere.  They were able to convince our mom to let them start a blog.  They were nervous about it at first, being fraidy cats and all.  They've been blogging for a couple of years now.  We've all had fun meeting new friends from all over the world, and that encourages us.

Thanks again, Dave and Zim, we're touched you pups thought of me us!

How was that, Minnie?

Wriggley

Toesday with Minnie

Yello!
It's me...Minnie!  And my pawsies.

I am feeling antique today...

Last week our mom had to travel to the St. Louis area for her work place.  She came home on Caturday evening.  We were all glad she was home because she didn't have the pet sitter lady come that day and we were starving by then we missed her.

You won't believe what she did for a bit of fun while she was away - she went to a dog museum!  She said the artwork and exhibits were pawsome, especially a Steven Huneck exhibit.

She brought back a soovenir for Wriggley and some other Lab stuff, but nothin for us kitties... ::sigh::
Mom was hoping to also have time to see the botanical gardens there and a butterfly house, but she didn't manage it.  Now that would be cool - bugs!  Although she did say she might have picked up a bug on the plane ride home, I don't think it's the same thing...

I've been hangin out alot in my super-duper-deluxe bed in the front room - my half of the house.  But I'll check other parts of the house every so often to make sure mom hasn't abandoned us again.

Hope your havin a great Toesday!

Afternoon Special

We had a special program this afternoon on our kitty TV.

Chick-hen!

Apparently she flew over the fence from our neighbors.

Doesn't she look delicious beautiful?

We asked mom if we could keep her but she wouldn't let us.  She especially said we couldn't let her stay for dinner.  Our mom always ruins our fun!

Toesday with Minnie

Psst!

Down here...

a little lower...
Yello!

It's me, Minnie!
Coming to you from under the couch.
Our mom has abandoned us for the next 87 squillion 5 days.  I thought I heard the pet sitter lady so I'm hidin out...

If I could show you my pawsies, they might look like this:

Pip has the computer in her room.  She might be able to post or visit for us...

otherwise we'll have to catch up with everybuddy on Caturday.
I think the coast is clear...
I'm gonna go have something to eat.

Have a great week, everybuddy!

The tell-tale toy

I like hangin out with my wormie friend.

It's starting to get cold at night so I've been sleepin in Wriggley's bed my super-duper-deluxe-extra-super-large-deluxe cat bed.  Even if mom doesn't see me in the bed, wormie gives me away...

Mom gets a kick out of seein where I've been on account of where wormie is.  Today, she could tell I had been nappin by the tree by the front door.

And do you see wormie behind me?

We were enjoyin some window whiffies and keeping an eye on the back yard.
And then there was...
hey!

I was not up on the counter!
Really!
This is SO a set up...
Mo-om!
