Toesday with Minnie

Yello!

It's me...Minnie...and my pawsies, hee hee!

The week before last mom abandoned us for a work trip.

She was gone for forever around 4 days.  It's kind of tough when our mom is gone cause, well, being fraidy cats an all, we're really on our own.  We pretty much hide when the lady comes to feed us.  Still, it was another break from the flashy box.

She came home very late on a Friday night.  Would you believe that on the very next day, Caturday, the first day she was home, she took over 50 squillion pic-shers with the flashy box?!?!?

And that was just of us kitties, cause Wriggley wasn't back from camp yet.

Ok, so maybe a lot of the pic-shers were of my pawsies...

Easy Sunday

Aaaah!

We want to say thanks to those of you that asked for some of our heat.  We put in a request to send a few degrees your way and we can see the difference in our temperatures today all ready.  Our high today is only supposed to be 91.

We are enjoying the breezes coming through the open windows.

Mom re-filled the bird feeders yesterday and we are getting a lot of action on the bird telly.

Mom was up early and Wriggley was able to take her on a long walkie.
This pretty much sums it up for us today...

We're havin a heat wave here this weekend.

The past couple of days have been over a hundred squillion degrees!

We knew it was gonna be bad today cause our cold air blowy machine was on at 5 this morning.

Still, I don't mind using mom for a pillow...

We're watchin some DVD's.

What's that mom?  You can't see cuz my bum is in your face?

Whatever!

um...hai...it's me...Hollie again.

You know, the lady cleaned my carpets the other day too.

I kinda have ::whispers:: hairballs sometimes and well, yeah, my carpets might've had some yucky spots.

Well, today I couldn't help it...yeah... I had a ::whispers:: hairball.

 

But lookit...

See how helpful I was?

I totally did not yak on the carpet!

It's not the same

Mom washed the carpets in my room yesterday.

She put these towels down because I wanted to be in my room while the carpets were still damp and my paws would melt if they got wet.

 

 

The problem is, she put a towel right in front of my food dish in a feeble attempt to keep that bit of carpet cleaner for longer.  While it is one thing to loaf on this towel as you see me, it is quite another to stand on one to eat my foods.

Even approaching from a different angle...

There is still the place mat...

 

Ahhhh!  Mom felt sorry for me and moved my food a little closer to the edge...

...but it still isn't the same.

Maybe if I glare stare at her for long enough...
