I don't know if you can tell but I've got all four of my cold pawsies on her bare skin.

Caturday!

Hullo.

I'm just hangin out, enjoying a quiet Caturday.

 

Oh, I know what you might be thinking, but before you say anything, let me just set the record straight.

 

There is nothing wrong with my size or the size of my box.

Mancat Monday

the time warp edition

Yesterday afternoon momma went out on a TNR mission*.  She didn't get back until late.  Like, 7PM late.  She apologized to us for our dinner being late, but honestly, we thought she was right on time.

This morning though, Momma made us get up at 2:30 (!!).  She said that according to the clocks it was our usual time.  At any rate, we got our breakfast an hour early, so that was ok.  (And we could go back to sleep while Momma went to work.  tee hee!

 

Momma was kinda late again tonight, or so she says.  She got us our dinners straight away.  But really, she was feeding us an hour early.

What's going on?

*yes, she got her cat and he will be tutored and released!

Tuesday treasure hunt!

This morning while we were having our breakfast, momma went digging for buried treasure under the 'fridge.

Lookit all of this loot!

It's like Christmas came early.

 

The paper straws are Ditto's fav'rites, the plastic rings are Sharpie's, and the fuzzy rings are Lilly's.  We aren't sure about the egg so we didn't waste any time chucking it behind the 'fridge again.

We better hide all of this again so Sandy Clawrs will bring us new stuff.

Mancat Monday

Hullo!

I'm not sure what I am doing here in the baffroom sink.  Somehow I just found myself here.

 

Last month was my and Ditto's birfday.  Would you believe we are four now?  FOUR!

Even more impawtant, two weeks ago now was Sharpie Day, my rescue/gotcha-versary!  If not for that day, my birfdays would be moot.  I've been here for four years now!  FOUR!

But you know what?  I had to spend Sharpie Day at camp!  And momma didn't even tell the camp counselors so they could make a fuss over me.  Ditto and Lilly were with me, so when momma picked us up, the three of us told her off all the way home.  tee hee!

 

oh, and I've been sufficiently spoiled always since.

Friday fun

Hullo!

I am having a bit of fun playing with this toy I found.

 

It is soft on one side and sort of scratchy on the other.

Plus it is spongy and great to bunny kick!

 

Momma had this hidden by the kitchen sink.  I think it was rude of her to hold out on us like that.

Wordless Wednesday: snack pack

Mancat Monday

On Friday, Momma had been walking through her stinky squash plants at her workplace.

 

When she came home, I could not get enough of her shoes!

To me, at least, this was better than nip!

 

Even after she moved her shoes to their usual place by the front door, I was back for more!

Ditto, you don't know what you're missing!

Easy SUNday

As usual, we are getting our Easy on this Sunday.

Our momma, not so much.  She has been on a cleaning bender yesterday and today.  She is mostly closed away in the library, or Pip's apartment.  We will sometimes hold vigil in the hallway...until she unleashes the noisy kirbymonster.

Last week Momma had to help Pip on her journey over The Bridge.  We didn't really know her.  She only liked Smidgen and (barely) Minnie, so we had a time share going on with the main parts of the house.

 

She was nineteen this year!  She had been battling cancers in her body, and well, it became clear to momma that it was time. 

Run free, Pip.  You were a curmudgeon even when you weren't feeling well (tee hee) and have left quite the milestone for the rest of us.

 

Nests

Last month the wind blew this nest out of the tree in our front yard.

  

Momma had to really dig to get to the inside.  Thankfully it was empty.  We're pretty sure it was a (Bullock's) Oriole nest.

 

I have a nest too!

 

Ok, maybe it isn't quite so elaborate.

 

but it was pretty purrfect for spending part of my Easy Sunday.

Mancat Monday

The ice cream edition.

We are having a bit of a heat wave here.  All this week the temps will be over 100 squillion degrees Fahrenheit.  Momma stopped at the store on her way home and got some ice scream.

That was her dinner.  tee hee!

She let me try some.  I got to lick the stick!

But you know what, I didn't really like it.  Momma was expecting to be attacked like we do when she eats yogurt.  tee hee!  I would rather have the yogurt.

Momma called for Sharpie too, so he could try it.  She had to call and call...

I was busy in my shopping bag!

I sniffed at the ice scream that was left on the stick and said no thanks!

Mancat Monday

Hullo!

Huh-lo!

 

Us Mancats and Lilly were packed off to camp for Caturday night.  Apparently there were firework boomies happening in our town and Momma says it is better for us if we aren't here.  She says camp is the lesser of the two evils, though WE aren't completely convinced.  What with having to go in our ptu's and the squillion hour long car ride... 

Lilly fought the good fight and made Momma work hard to catch her and get her in her ptu.  tee hee!  She found a great hiding spot behind stuff atop the kitchen cabinets.  She almost had Momma fooled into thinking she disappeared!  Momma was determined because Lilly is the one who would especially be freaked out if she stayed.

You may not believe this but we aren't just a couple of handsome faces.  We do our fair share around here and while we were gone there wasn't anybuddy to clean up the food dishes!

Sharpie strikes again

Hullo!

I'm sitting here with Momma as she tries to watch watches something on the computer.

 

The other day she went out to the back yard to do a few things and when she came back inside, she noticed me licking my lips alot.  She has noticed we'll do that sometimes before we are going to bomit, so she asked me if I was going to bomit (we had just eaten dinner).

She followed me around in case I was going to bomit, so she could put a towel or something down in front of me.  As we walked through the kitchen  and back toward the front door, she saw it...

 

See, she had been to the store and didn't quite put everything away.  That box of cheesy crackers had exploded out of the grocery bag!  I may have taken some cracker crumbs in my mouth.  All the lip licking was just me savoring the cheesy crackers.  tee hee!

What's that Momma?  I'm in the way of your computer watchin?

We have been away for awhile but things around here haven't changed!

Easy Sunday

This was us last weekend on Easy Sunday, though this Sunday is no different.

We had just gotten home from camp.  We had to spend a few days there while momma did some traveling for her work place.  They let us use their computer so we could send momma email updates on how we were doing.  Would you believe she was worried that she'd get a note saying we were being jerks and she needed to come home and get us?!?!??  This time we ALL got a good report card.

We told momma off pretty much the whole way on the squillion hour car ride home.  By the time we were home, re-introduced to the house given lots of treats, we'd forgiven her the injustice and were all sweet and snuggly.  (You know, our usual selves, tee hee!)

We've just been hangin out this weekend, enjoying it an all.  Our momma too.  Now it's time to get ready for dinners and the week ahead.
