It's Sharpie...in case you don't remember me.

I'm just hangin out, enjoying a quiet Caturday.

 

Oh, I know what you might be thinking, but before you say anything, let me just set the record straight.

 

There is nothing wrong with my size or the size of my box.

Mom made me rush through my breakfast this morning and even took it away before I could finish!

Oh sure, she said she'd let me finish later.

 

Well, when later came around, I did not want to go back into the kitchen...

 

This is going to be a good Caturday after all.

Cool as a cucumber

Last night we had those firework boomies behind our house.  The Lady goes out into our back yard to watch them.  Afterwards, she checked on us to make sure we were ok and not too freaked out.

This is where I was the whole time...

What?

Not long after the firework boomies we had some thunder boomies and then a down-pour.  The Lady even said that some lightning was trying to compete with the fireworks.

  

Whatever.  You can turn the light back off any time now.

Those boycats and Lilly were sent away again for the night.  I was more annoyed today when they came home!

Sharpie strikes again

Hullo!

I'm sitting here with Momma as she tries to watch watches something on the computer.

 

The other day she went out to the back yard to do a few things and when she came back inside, she noticed me licking my lips alot.  She has noticed we'll do that sometimes before we are going to bomit, so she asked me if I was going to bomit (we had just eaten dinner).

She followed me around in case I was going to bomit, so she could put a towel or something down in front of me.  As we walked through the kitchen  and back toward the front door, she saw it...

 

See, she had been to the store and didn't quite put everything away.  That box of cheesy crackers had exploded out of the grocery bag!  I may have taken some cracker crumbs in my mouth.  All the lip licking was just me savoring the cheesy crackers.  tee hee!

What's that Momma?  I'm in the way of your computer watchin?

We have been away for awhile but things around here haven't changed!

Downsized!

No, no...not what you might be thinking...we haven't moved or anything.

See, the lady has been eyeing this corner and Wriggley's old crate our super-duper huge-o-deluxe kitty condo and thinking she could use the space for her junk.  Oh sure, she said she would set up the smaller, just-sort-of-deluxe condo that was Lilly's when she first came here.

Of course, I couldn't have that so I had to step up the game.

See, you can't give us something smaller...there is barely room in here for the two of us!

Unfortunately I couldn't convince her.  She had her mind set on a bookshelf for the space and we'd just have to make do with the smaller set up.

Wow, that is gonna be small!

The lady put together her shelf.
Everybuddy else seemed to like it all ok.

 

I'm not so impressed.

She set this new box of cocoa on the kitchen counter while she had water boiling and then went into another room.

Gee Momma, I have no idea how this box got to be here in the hall baffroom...

maybe it exploded or something...

Momma says it's a good thing Christmas was last week...

The tree outside this window has little fruits on it that the Starlings seem to love.

 

The tree branches come so close to our window and the birdies are just Right.  There.

Some boxes were left on our doorstep this morning.

I thought I'd help get this one open.

 

I was having a bit of trouble.

Then I realized there were already some empty boxes!

 

I know!

 

What was I thinking!

And there was this other box too that Momma opened.

 

oh...wait...hang on...

 

 

Ditto!  Get outta my box!

I think I've mentioned before that I like hanging out close to Minnie.

 

Today Momma was giving her the brush.

New Year's Caturday Eve

Our morning started out rainy and dreary.  Actually, we were figuring on rain for the day but the clouds gave way to some nice sunshines.
 

 

It's hard to believe it is the last day of the year.  None of us here are ones for resolutions.  Of course we plan to cause plenty of mischief have lots of fun next year, and not let our momma take so many blog breaks :).

We aren't doing anything special today, just mostly relaxin...

and practicing for what we'll be doing tonight when the clock strikes midnight...

Momma went for a bike ride today.  She was all ready to go but to fill her water bottles.

Caturday Starvation

oh, don't worry, it's not us who are starving.

It's our momma!  tee hee!

Sharpie an I are always wrasslin an carrying on...you know, regular kitten stuff.  We usually end up with a time out before we get to the point of napping nicely on momma's lap.  This is a first!  Momma says she is starving but she doesn't want to disturb the peace.

Hang in there!

Only a few more hours 'til you need to get up and fix our dinners anyways.

Don't tell anybuddy...

but I'm still a little creeped-out about that bug in my bed.

 

 

Mom keeps finding me hanging out on the part of the bed were I'm not allowed, on account of there isn't any plastic (in case I decide to piddle in my sleep)

 

 

Sure, mom rousts me and I'll begrudgingly go back to my bed.

 

But I am preferring to hang out on the nappy pads next door that don't have the bug cooties.

 

 

A kitty can't be too safe, you know..



Eeeek!

Hey!  Something just tickled my furs!

 

 

What the?

 

 

Ewww!

 

 

There's a big hairy bug in my bed!

 

Mom, dancing around the bed and freaking out in general, yet still trying to get a picture...

"Smidgen, get the bug! Get the bug!  Eat it!

Wait...where are you going?!?"

 

Mom, now freaking because the bug has run across the bed and is in her blanket.  She grabs the blanket with two fingers and gives it a careful shake.  The bug falls out onto the floor.

Minnie, who was nearby sleeping in her pillow, has gotten up to see what the hullaballoo is about...

 

Say...there's a bug under the bed...

 

 

"Minnie, getthebug, getthebug, getthebug!!!"

 

Meanwhile...

 

What?  You expect me to go back in there?

 

 

Back in the bug-zone...

 

Hmmm...this is kinda boring...

 

 

I'm outa here!

 

 

"Minnieeee!"

 

And even an hour later...

 

Ack!  I can't believe that bug was in my bed...

This happened last night.  We aren't sure where the bug got to as mom was afraid to look under the bed, mol!  She did see a similar one on the wall as she was going to feed Wriggley this morning.  She didn't bother to get any of us involved and let the Kirbymonster out to eat it.  We are all hoping this was the same bug...
