Mancat Monday

It's the first day of 2018 and it's a Mancat Monday at that!

Happy New Year, everybuddy!

This was actually us yesterday on Easy New Year's Eve Sunday.  We were practicin how we'd be ringing in the new year...with our eyes closed.  tee hee!

 

We're excited to see what will be in store for this new year.  Our momma has some silly ideas to do more stuffs and be more active.  We don't really go in for that resolution business, though like every year we plan on causing plenty of trouble having lots of fun.  tee hee!

Well, besides today being the first Mancat Monday, it was only fitting that the first picture from the pawparazzi for 2018 was...

I'll spare you the second picture of 2018 and just say that the third time's the charm!

Hullo and Happy New Year!

After breakfast this morning I was having a grand game of soccer.  Then momma heard a different sort of commotion.

You won't believe my predicamint.

My soccer ball got stuck in this cardboardy roll and I'm trying to get it out!  Yeah, even I don't know how I managed that.

I've almost got it tho.

New Year's Caturday Eve

Our morning started out rainy and dreary.  Actually, we were figuring on rain for the day but the clouds gave way to some nice sunshines.
 

 

It's hard to believe it is the last day of the year.  None of us here are ones for resolutions.  Of course we plan to cause plenty of mischief have lots of fun next year, and not let our momma take so many blog breaks :).

We aren't doing anything special today, just mostly relaxin...

and practicing for what we'll be doing tonight when the clock strikes midnight...

Toesday with Minnie

Oh...Yello!

You caught me an my pawsies nappin.

 

 

We are hunkered down on mom here, tryin to keep warm.  It has been cold here lately, even though we have sunshines.  I am always trying to climb in mom's lap if she is sitting down or jump on her shoulders.  She says that bit is getting rather annoying...hmmm...I'm not sure what she could mean by that...

 

 

 

The wind has really picked up today too: 17 squillion miles an hour with gusts up to 32 squillion miles per hour.  Mom had to go down to Davis for some supplies.  She was driving on a frontage road and was almost broadsided by a tumbleweed, mol!  On the plus side though, there is some good leaf action at the TV windows :).

 

 

So this is the last Toesday of 2014.  Can you believe it?  It's not quite New Year's Eve, but still.

As usual we'll proly spend our New Year's Eve, well, sleeping!

We're an exciting group here, hee hee!

Toesday with Minnie

Yello!

It's me, Minnie!  ok, mostly my pawsies...and a little bit of my nose...

 

 

It's been ages since I've posted a Toesday!  I figgered since we started the year with a Toesday, it would be fun to finish with one.

 

 

Most evenings my pawsies and I take over mom's lap.  Here we are all stretched out and comfy.  We sometimes watch movies, maybe read, or listen to audio books.

 

 

It's hard to believe it's the end of the year!  We aren't much for New Year's Eve pawties or celebrations.  Shoot, we're lucky if we can stay up past nine!

 

So tonight we'll probably find some movies to watch again, you know, just hang out an all.  Maybe think on some resolutions.  Other than stirring up mischief having as much fun as possible in the coming year, I can't really think of anything else....

Toesday with Minnie

Yello!

It's me...Minnie!  Well, mostly just my pawsies.

 

We are about to climb on mom's shoulder.

 

 

I like doing this since I realized that I can.  Now if I see mom bending over or if she's sitting in such a way that she doesn't leave me a lap, I just jump aboard her back or shoulders.  I can catch her from this tree too.

I can't beleive this is the first Toesday of a new year!  None of us here really go in for resolutions, but I thought my pawsies and I should try to cause as much trouble have as much fun as we can in the coming year.

The First Easy Sunday of 2012

Happy New Year, furriends!  I don't know about yours, but here, things have gotten off to a not-so-auspicious start.

I must admit to an embarrassing problem: I sometimes have accidents in my sleep.  Mom is not really sure if I'm sleeping or have to go so bad I can't be bothered to make it to the litter box.  It's not something I care to talk about, 'cause like I said, it's rather embarrassing!

Well, I had an accident on the bed this morning...and I just happened to be cuddled up with mom...

She woke and noticed the smelly blanket first...and then the wet spot on her leg!

Mom got up and took Wriggley out to do his business - she didn't want any other accidents in the house! Then she had to clean herself up, and then tear the bed apart and start some laundry.

Of course, this meant all of our breakfast was delayed (but somehow mom managed to make coffee straight away...hmmm...but that is really a good thing...).

Some time ago, Mom got a waterproof mattress protector so she wouldn't need to banish me from the my bed.  The good news is that it worked, but we only have one.  So now my bed has to stay torn apart until everything dries (we don't have a dryer).

I'm just gonna take it easy here for a bit, and then maybe find a sunbeam to enjoy, or perhaps catch an episode of bird tv - we've had some very good programs lately, including the hawk again!

As things have started, the year can only get better!

Happy Snow Year!

I was on storm-watch first thing this morning when mom got up.

She wondered what I could be so excited about.  This is what I saw:

Snow!

We live in California in the north end of the Sacramento Valley.  In the winter time we get freezing weather, but it's not very often we get the cold combined with a storm such that we get snow.  In my four years, I don't think I've ever seen it.

Ok, so it isn't much and we won't be building any snowcats any time soon...
