Toesday Interrupted

I hafta interrupt my usual Toesday to show you the trouble I got into the new grocery inspectin work I've been doing.

I take my job VERY seriously!

I've branched out my duties to include the bags on the counter.  Ok, you'll have to take my word that this bag was on the counter...

There were some treat samples in the bag and of course I had to try them out...you know, make sure they were ok an all...
Did I mention they were free?
That means we're free to have them...

Or so I thought... but then mom took them away!
Still, Smidgen and I cleaned the crumbs up off the carpet.

That's a bonus service I offer!

The food you saw in the pouches was for Hollie.  I inspected those as best I could, but I couldn't get into the packaging.  Sorry Hollie!  I'll have to give those poor marks for packaging that isn't kitty friendly.

Well, sorry I don't have any pawsies to show you today, but I hope you understand what with how busy I was.

Hope your Toesday is just as productive!

The Great Escape!

Our front door doesn't latch securely sometimes and this afternoon, when mom was outside with Wriggley, the wind blew it open!

I was able to escape explore outside for a bit.
Mom and Wriggley were walking back up to the house from the mail box when mom spotted me outside.  Need I say she freaked out!  Sheesh!  I was close to the front door yet, so mom quickly shoo'ed me back inside.

Mom and Wriggley came back inside right behind me.  Then mom started to look around for Smidgen.  Maybe she went explorin too?  I wasn't tellin!  Mom walked all through the house, searching and calling.  She stepped outside again and peered under the bushes by our porch.  Hmmm...Smidgen is pretty good at disappearin.  So mom checked the house again.  Nope!  She had to be outside!

And I was outside!  I was hiding hanging out on the other side of the bushes, nomming on some grass!  Of course mom grabbed me right away and took me back inside.

We were outside just long enough to sniff some sniffs, eat some grass, and come back inside and...

Toesday with Minnie

Well, it's actually more of a Tailsday!

Mom gave me the brush over the weekend.
I love getting brushed with the "Zoom Groom"!

I was so excited, my tail got all floofed out!
Can you tell?

Aack!  I think I got some furs in my mouth even...

And speaking of furs flying...
Lookit mom's cat-fur-fleece vest!

Miffed!

Mom is makin herself a sammich.  She's down to the part of the bread loaf that I, um, taste-tested.
She said she did not want to be spit-sisters with me and she cut off the corner of the bread that I had nommed on.
I think my feelings are a bit hurt...

...and, And she would not share her sammich with me!

hmmph!

It's sunny with a cold North wind blowing.

Inspected by No. 3

That's me!
Minnie!

Mom did some grocery shopping the other day.  She had to go to Target to stock up on waterproof pillow protectors again, so she grabbed some foodables while she was at it.

When mom had Wriggley outside taking care of business, I got into the inspected the bag of groceries she left out for me on the floor.

I noticed straight away that there was something different about the bread.  Of course I had to taste test it, make sure it was ok.  You know, whole wheat an all.

I think my work ethic and go-to-it attitude surprises mom.  She figures maybe this time I won't remember to do my job.  She really should know me by now, don't you think?
Still, I could tell she appreciated my work by the way she said "oh, Minnie!"
You're welcome, mom.  I'm always happy to lend a paw!

Toesday with Minnie

Mom has this thing she does with Wriggley where she will put this close to his pawsies, make some funny clicker noise, and give him a kibble-treat.

Hmmm...something's not right.  My pawsies are close an all but I don't here any funny clicker noise...and there isn't any kibble treat!

Did you know that we kitties here are actually kibble-deprived?  It's cruelty, I tell you!  Mom is even pretty stingy on the treats for us...

I suppose it doesn't help that the other day after dinner when mom gave me a treat, I proceeded to projectile-vomit my meal...
...anywho...

It's a good thing Wriggley is messy especially when it comes to eating a cookie and I'm sure to find a crumb or two.

Hope you have a treat-filled Toesday!

It's Not What You Think

When mom gets back from her walk with Wriggley, I'm usually sitting here waiting for them to come in the door.

Oh, it's not what you think.  It's not like I miss them or anything.
See, after mom takes off Wriggley's collar and harness and releases him, she gives him a handful of kibbles from her treat bag...

And I'm just waitin for my chance to find some crumbs...
or maybe even a stray kibble!

Stock Tip

For anyone looking for somewhere to invest their green papers, might we suggest Target Corp., who have these waterproof matress protectors...

...which mom seems to be acquiring a lot of lately.  Not to mention waterproof pillow protectors...

Oh, and there's also the company that makes the laundry detergent mom uses:

Yeah...mom's been doing a lot of laundry this weekend...

What?  I can't help it!

The Joker

hai...it's me...Hollie!
I bet you didn't know I have a prankster side to me.
Well, let me tell you, I got the lady here good!

Some time ago the lady noticed a deaded spider in my closet.  It was a big, hairy, ugly deaded spider and the lady was kind of scared of it.  No... she was really creeped out by it!
So she just left it there.

This is really what the spider looked like...um...I mean, this is the spider!

The lady was cleaning house before she went on her trip and she had the sucky monster in my room.  Well, she got all brave on account of she had the hose attachment on the sucky machine, so she finally decided to clean it up.

As she got closer she noticed...

It was one of her plastic joke spiders!
MOLOL!!!!

And I have no idea how it got there... ;-/
