Mom came home from work today and found me nappin on "her" pillow.

 

Though I really don't know where she got that idea.

Because of course we all know that possession is nine-tenths of the law...

Caturday Starvation

oh, don't worry, it's not us who are starving.

It's our momma!  tee hee!

Sharpie an I are always wrasslin an carrying on...you know, regular kitten stuff.  We usually end up with a time out before we get to the point of napping nicely on momma's lap.  This is a first!  Momma says she is starving but she doesn't want to disturb the peace.

Hang in there!

Only a few more hours 'til you need to get up and fix our dinners anyways.

I'm thankful to have this monster-free moment to relax and enjoy.

We're all getting in on the act

Mom couldn't find me when she got home from work this afternoon.

She knows we can't get out, but still, if we aren't in our usual places, she gets a little bit worried.

 

Not finding me in my usual beddy-by nappy spots, she started looking around for the tell-tale lump.  You know, under covers and such...

 

Well, guess where I was?

Oh...in case you don't recognize the lump in the next pic-sher, this is me...

What can I say?  It's been cold and rainy here today and Wriggley's crate bed our super duper deluxe kitty bed condo lounge is warm and snuggly.  Plus Wriggley is outside during the day when mom's at work so it's not like he wanted to be here.

 

Um...er...okaaay...

 

 

Mind if I get back to my nappin?

Apparently the lady management has started to feel sorry for that big black dog has received some complaints and is cracking down on kitty squatters in the super deluxe condo lounge bed.

 

 

 So I just made myself at home on the porch...

 

 

This still seems to be fair game.

So I guess I'm safe...

Mom saw me nappin on the edge of my beddy-by the other day and wondered what in the world!

"You're gonna fall off the edge, Smidgie"

 

 

Then she noticed the room was a bit stinky...like kitty piddle...

 

 

So she made a closer inspection and sniff of my beddy-by.

 

 

"Bleah!"

 

Yeah, well, I guess still have my accidents.

At least now you know why I'm sleepin way over here!

You know that saying folks have for kids when they make a goofy face, that their face will get stuck like that?  Well, mom says that if I keep sleeping like this, I'll turn into a rabbit!

The other kitties are having their Easy Sunday afternoon naps.  While they're in the other room, I get my turn in the house to explore and stuff.

 

 

 

 

 

I'm gonna watch a some kitty TV.  The bird channel is a little different out here.

 

 

Our weather is a bit cloudy today.  The lady had to get the front and back yards mowed before we get any rain.  Despite the clouds she decided to put the water on in the back.  The birdies seemed to appreciate it.  She went outside and saw them flying through the water and hopping around, having a bit of bath time fun.  Or maybe I should say shower time...
