This was us takin it easy on Christmas.  We may have been in shock that Sandy Clawrs came to our house.  We got two different goodie boxes filled with lots of, well, goodies!  There were a lot of nom-tastic er...noms...something for each of us here (which is no easy feat since some of us have dietary challenges) plus enough to share with our feral family and there is still some left!

We even had a bonus of real live canned sardines added to our Christmas dinner.

I guess we were all good kitties after all.

It is a relief now, tho, that the pressure is off...

 

 

You know, so we can relax and things can get back to business as usual.

We think these programs are even better than what we get on our bird channels!

hmmm...what to say, what to say... 

 

What do you think, Lilly.  Should we tell them about our v-e-t check ups a couple of weeks ago, and how you had to have that stick poked up your bum three times cuz the numbers didn't seem right?

 

 

No?

How about yesterday when momma didn't give you breakfast and packed you off again to the v-e-t so you could get your teefies cleaned on account of your yucky gums and stinky breath?  And then this morning, because you thought your breakfast would be forgotten again, you tried to get at Sharpie's even when momma had your dish of food too?

 

No still?

okay then...

The Burrowers

This is a top view of my picture yesterday.

 

 

I like to burrow.

Sometimes I try to burrow into momma's sweatshirt, or maybe under the bed covers.  Or even, like here, between momma's legs.

It must be a family thing 'cause Sharpie is a burrower too!

 

It is all well and good to be cozy and snug as our weather is getting colder.

There can be some disadvantages...

I gotta say today how thankful I am for the comfy places I have here to rest my head.

 

I have a lot of spots to choose from.

 

And have I mentioned how comfy they all are?

 

I really am not so particular.

 

 

My options are endless!

 

Besides the brace on the computer bed table, I suppose my paws down favorite is...

Minnie!

I just happened to be in the room with mom when she locked those boycats out so she could eat.  And she opened up the catio just for me!

ahhhh!   Nothing beats a good roll around on the cee-ment.

Especially if it's dirty cee-ment, hee hee!

Last Caturday and Easy Sunday I got catio time all by myself.  No boycats allowed!

 

We almost missed it, but last week on Wordless Wednesday it was our 732nd post!  Now we aren't everyday posters because our mom is lazy and won't help us and our last "blogoversary" was at one leap year worth of posts...so this makes our second leap year blogoversary in posts!  hee hee!

Thank you everybuddy for being our friends.  We aren't very good at sayin stuff like this but you all mean a lot to us!

C'mon out on the catio for some reality TV shows and we can have those two crazy boycats open up the treat cupboard...

Thankful Thursday

For Christmouse we got these ramps as a back door to the bedroom penthouse (the tree on the other side of the closet is the front door).

Ditto an I have some pretty fun zoomie games up and down them.

That is Ditto flyin through the air.

This afternoon we were takin a break and I was peaking into the closet not unlike this next picture.

Momma's not sure what happened next but she looked over to see me hanging off the edge of the ramp!  I slipped off to the side and the way that I had to grip to keep from falling I couldn't get myself back up.  And if you look at the first picture again, it would not have been a fun fall.  That pillow on top of Wriggley's our condo isn't right underneath.

Thankfully Momma was right there to help me out and get me back onto the ramp.

We're thankful Momma has our backs!

She says that eight months ago she didn't have any grey hair.  We have no idea what she means by that...

Mom came home from work today and found me nappin on "her" pillow.

 

Though I really don't know where she got that idea.

Because of course we all know that possession is nine-tenths of the law...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everybuddy!

We truly have more blessings in our lives than we can count on our paws.

We do want to say a special thank you to all of you, our blogging pals, for the comforting notes you left us about Wriggley.  Our mom was touched and overwhelmed.

She still expects to see him laying in his usual spots as she moves from room to room.

Minnie and I especially are missing him today...

Thankful

Thank you, mom, for giving me that second chance twelve years ago when the chips were down in my life.  I'm sorry I couldn't live forever.  I know you wanted me to.  So did I.  Last week the cardiologist said my heart was a bit worse and could stop.  I'm sorry it had to be sooner than you wanted..  Remember that my heart that is my soul will never leave you.

Think of me when you eat a carrot.  Have another for me, even.  Sorry I can't get the 'fridge for you tho.

 

Tell Smidgie and Sharpie I didn't really mean to try to eat them those times..

Say, you never did make we those pupcakes you said you would last week.  Still do, k?  And share them with my friends.
