It's just me, Minnie, I'm cleaning my pawsies.  I'm chewin on my favorite tastey toe.

Minnie Snoopervises

Mom put up our little tree over the weekend, and I had to make sure this and the other decorations passed muster.   Hmmm...I guess this is ok...but what's the deal with all of the doggy ornaments?

We could use one of those skirt thingys to cover up this pot...

We have some other decorations out on top of the book shelf.  Ooh...lookit!  Presents all ready!  I wonder who they are for?

Don't worry, I'm not allowed to get away with this sort of thing if the candles are lit.

This is how I can get on the mantle.  Come on, we can check out the stockings.  First I go from the book shelf to the stereo cabinet, and then it's an easy step up onto the mantle.

These hangers are heavy and they'll keep our stockings from falling even when they are full of presents!

Everything still looks good...no one has knocked the stockings down or anything...we're all set for Santy Paws!

Now that I'm at the end of the mantle, it's an easy jump back down...

Say, that was fun!  Like walkin a tight rope!  And I didn't knock anything off!

Why walk across the floor when you can have more fun this way, mol!

A Cat's Work is Never Done

mmmmph...hang on a sec...I'm inspectin the groceries...making sure mom got the right stuff...

I found a package of those fun pasta toys but mom took it away from me before I could rip open the bag put it away and wouldn't let me play with em.

I was especially interested in the dish soap in the plastic bag...I had to make sure it was the right kind and all...you know, environmentally friendly and stuff like that.

The soap was ok...I'm not so sure about the container tho...a little on the thin side since it was no match for my teefs, mol!

btw, mom, you should proly do something about that soap leakin all over the sink...

The New Me

Hai again, remember me?  I have a new name to go with my new life now.  You can call me Hollie.  I like the sound of that, don't you?

So it will be almost two whole weeks that I've been here.  I'm getting used to everything ok.  The lady is nice and the food is good.  At first I was getting some different kinds of stinky goodness and one brand I don't like so much.  Well, the lady says I don't have to eat that kind anymore.  She's just giving me the stuff I like.  How cool is that?

I love rolling in catnip and on my catnippy toys.  The lady switches my toys around so I have different fun things to play with, since I'm still here in my room.

The lady combs me a lot - I like that - and gives good scritches.  I love to be combed and petted and scritched!

If I knew how to add sound to this picture, you could hear me purrin.  Sometimes after she's been petting me, I'll go over and sit on my bed and make biscuits cause I'm happy.  I won't make biscuits on the lady or sit on the lady, I'm not sure how she likes that sort of thing and I don't want to offend.

The lady always has this thing she's flashing in my face.  Gosh, I could do without that!  Ok..well, I gotta go...so...bye for now...

Yello!  We are having innernetz withdrawals here without our computer!  Yow!  I cried and cried and mom let me do a Toesday post from hers and plus she let us do some visiting.  Thanks mom!

I really had to dig around on her computer too for pic-shers.  These are old - from back in 2007!  I was maybe one, and I still didn't fit in my donut bed :-).
