Easy Sunday: creepy edition

We interrupt this Easy Sunday to show you this...

We have this crazy plant growing in our front garden.

It's a new variety of lily...

Called the Snail Lily (Liliaceae gastropodus sp grossioutus).

The snails seem to be open only in the morning.
Here is that same plant in later in the afternoon:

Pretty gross cool, huh?
hee hee!

Ok, we return you now to our regularly scheduled Easy Sunday activities all ready in progress...

Have a good one, everybuddy!

  2. My human LIKES snails! She is fascinated by them. But then, she has never tried to have a real garden either!

  3. Snail lily! Ew! And that is....too many snail blossoms!

  4. Snails tails fur sure! Hey, the Easy looks darn good though!

  5. Yuck! We don't think our head peep would want fake snails in the garden. Very interesting, though. We had never heard of that before.

  6. Were those snails crunchy?

    The Paw Relations

  7. LOL. Snails... hmmmm... creepy... at least they didn't leave any bite marks on that lily... grossioutus... sounds sciency...

Enjoy the rest of the week.

  9. Excuse our Mom who likes everything nature-y and thinks your snail lily is fascinating. We don't have much patience for such slow moving things and would join you in your nap. Purrs...
