The carrot thief

Mom brought home a big bag of carrots from her workplace yesterday.  True to her fashion, she left the bag on the floor by the front door.

 

Later this morning she noticed some suspicious crumbs on the carpet...

 

 

Don't look at me, I don't even like carrots!

As a matter of fact, it was delic...er...ahem...I have no idea what you are talking about...



Easy weekend

We are all havin an Easy Sunday and weekend.
Yesterday was pretty nice with some sunshines.  Besides taking Wriggley on some walkies, mom didn't do much.

Throughout the week we've been having a bit of a Thin Man movie fest, watching one a night.  Well, mom always falls asleep so each night we have to watch the end half of the movie from the night before, and then the new movie, mol.  Yesterday we watched the last one, all in one go even.

 

It's rainy today.  Mom was gonna do some errands but she put them off and is bein lazy again.  Well, she says she is still getting over a cold and that's her excuse so she has a right take it easy.  Her cough does make it difficult to lay on her at times...it isn't so comfy when she is having a hacking fit.

 

 

You know, Friday was Wriggley's eleventieth gotcha day and mom mostly forgot.  She tried to pass off some supple-mints that came in the mail yesterday as his pressie...

 

Yeah...he wasn't so impressed either...

 

Well, I'm gonna get back to my Easy Sunday snoozin.

 

 

Until dinnertime, at least...

We're all getting in on the act

Mom couldn't find me when she got home from work this afternoon.

She knows we can't get out, but still, if we aren't in our usual places, she gets a little bit worried.

 

Not finding me in my usual beddy-by nappy spots, she started looking around for the tell-tale lump.  You know, under covers and such...

 

Well, guess where I was?

What can I say?  It's been cold and rainy here today and Wriggley's crate bed our super duper deluxe kitty bed condo lounge is warm and snuggly.  Plus Wriggley is outside during the day when mom's at work so it's not like he wanted to be here.

 

Um...er...okaaay...

 

 

Mind if I get back to my nappin?
