Some Caturday Time Outside

Oh, we are having a lovely Caturday and hope efurryone else is too.  We were nice to mom and let her sleep in just a little, but we still got breakfast for, um, breakfast (and not lunch!).  She spent the morning doing yard chores (she sure knows how to have fun, eh?)  I got to go outside to the front when she was done and inspect her work.
Looked ok to me.  I'm a cat of many words and I'm not afraid to say what's on my mind.  I discuss the finer points of yard care with mom:

I could hear some critter activity in the shrubbery.  Hmmm...could be some fun hunting a-paw...

What's that, mom?  You hear it too?
Whatta ya mean, you don't want me to catch any lizards?!?  D'oh!  Well, thankfully there are no embarrassing photos of me be scooped up and carted back inside.  Sigh.  Well, at least I can enjoy the view from my library window and keep track of anything interesting that might happen...

Not quite the same, but it'll do, it'll do...

Whose House is it Anyway?

Huh?  Whats that?
Yes, I realize I am on the table...your point?

Yes, that was me on the table too...so?
Oh, by the way...don't look now, but there's Pip over on the counter...

Toesday with Minnie

Hi!  I'm back, and so are my pawsies!
Gosh, lately mom has either been wrapped up and busy with work or too tired from alla her work!  (She couldn't help me much with new pic-shers so I hope none of these are repeats all ready).

On Caturday, she slept like half the day away.  We didn't get our breakfast til afternoon!  Who does she think she is, a cat?
That's fine and all, but who's gonna open the fridge an fud for us?  Hmmmm, Wriggley can open the fridge, but that still leaves the fudz...
We can all feel the days getting shorter and that means mom's busy time is about done.  The weather is cooler.  We even got some rains on Caturday night!  There was quite a commotion on Sunday outside on our roof and chimney.  We wondered if it was the wind, or a storm, or maybe even Sandy Claws!  We sent mom out to investigate ... it was just these fellas...

Well, gotta go, I'm outta toes!  Have a great Toesday, efurryone!

Formerly Feral Friday Favorites

We thought we'd share some of our favorite places in the house.

Pip: Mine is in the library - My Room!  I lay in the morning sun shines coming through the window and relax.  Aaaah!

Smidgen: I like to nap in my room (er...mom might call it the master bedroom, but what does she know...) with my teddy bear!  I like to read in bed, too.

Minnie: I like to nap and relax in the little tree that is in the front-room window.  I have a good view of what is going on outside on our porch, plus I get some nice sun-beams.

Have a nice Friday and weekend, efurryone.  Enjoy your own favorite places!

Fun with Pip

I'm a mature lady cat.  But you know, I have my gooberish moments too!  I know what you're thinking, but it's true.

See this little piece of paper?  Well, this is my absolute favorite toy...next to my green froggy...and my absolute favorite game is when mom tears some paper, to get my attention and all, crumples it up, and flicks it across the floor for me to chase!  Fun, I'm telling you!
Mind you, I only chase the paper and maybe chew on it and bat it around with my paws when I catch it.  I know there are some kitties out there who fetch, and Minnie does too, to some extent, so I don't mean to offend, but I feel it is my catly duty to, well, not.  So mom has to run after the paper wads to collect them to flick across the floor for me again.  The way I see it, really, is that I'm doing her a favor 'cause she's getting excercise too!

We made this movie.  Check out my crazy cat eyes!

I told you I could be silly!
