Toesday with Minnie

Hi!  I'm just playin with my favorite feathers.  I wasn't too sure about that real turkey feather mom had brought for us...it smelled kinda interestin at any rate.  I did end up playin with it for a little bit - didn't want mom to feel bad :-).  These here are my favorite feathers to play with!  woops!  I said that all ready!

This toy also has a squeaky mousie on the end of it, but I just like the feathers...

Sleep Sitting

Anycat else do this?  I'm sitting and I just close my eyes a bit and sort of...doze off...

Sometimes I'll eventually loaf or lie down and get more comfortable...or else mom will poke me and wake me up.  Then I sort of do it all over again.  I don't think Smidge or Minnie do this.  Mom thinks I'm strange...

Easy Sunday, Easy Weekend

Yesterday was dreary and drizzly all day.  Today we have a proper storm with wind and rain.  I like to watch the rain and the leaves blowin in the wind - I'm on storm watch, mol!

So we have just been takin it easy this weekend.  Mom got a new book of crosswords.

She was workin on a tough one so we all helped out.

I can't believe you don't know the answer to 3-down...sheesh!

Small Consolations

All summer a group of turkeys has been hangin around where our mom works.  She wanted to get a picture for us but whenever she had a camera with her, she didn't see 'em, and vice versa.  But she did bring us home one of their feathers!

Neither Pip nor I were much impressed...

Wordless Wednesday: Anatomy of a Nap with Pip

Toesday with Minnie

Yello! I'm just relaxin...recoverin from yesterday...

What happend, you ask? Well, lemme tell you!

First, mom puts me in my room, like she always does before she leaves for work, exceptin this time she forgot my breakfast!  Then she came back in my room and I thought ‘Great!  Food!’ ‘cept she put me in the ptu!  (They’re always out so there’s just no tellin).  She took me to the v-e-t!  Again!

I go furevers without an appointment an now suddenly I have two in practically as many weeks!  Sigh.   I had to endure the usual embarrassment and violations and then mom up and left me.  I’m not sure exactly what happened next.  They did some more stuff to me an I got all kinda sleepy. 

The next thing I knew I was wakin up from my nap.  Boy, did I feel loopy!  Then mom was there too and she took me home.  I was back in my room before long.  Yow!  I sure had a hard time movin around at first; mom laughed at me but at least she didn’t take any pictures!  My mouth feels a little funny but my teeths feel all clean an sparkly white!  Yow!

So, yeah, I’m just takin it easy today…
