Do you see what me an my pawsies have today?
It does look like a pawsome cat toy, doesn't it? I mean, who wouldn't want to whap around a Lab head?
Sadly, it is not. This a 'tenna topper mom has on her work truck. She likes to show off she likes Labs. Whatever. Anywho, last week while she was driving about, she had to go through some low tree branches. She said that as soon as she saw the truck antenna twang, she knew 'tenna Labby was a goner.
Sure enough. Well, she couldn't exactly stop and go looking for him, and she was bummed about losing him; so when she got home, she went on line and ordered another.
The very next day, as she was putting something in the bed of her truck, guess who she found there too...
Yup! 'tenna Labby had been rolling around back there the whole time.
But do you see now, mom also got a leash for him so hopefully he can't get lost again.
Hope everybuddy is having a great Toesday!

of the birds!
I like to sit at the very tippy top of this tree that is by our big screen TV window.
Sometimes the birds will be flying around right outside.
It's like I'm up close and pawsonal with the them, you know?
The outdoor patio light is just right there too, and sometimes the birdies will perch on it.
ooh! I think one is there now...
awww, he's gone now.
Bye, bye, birdie!

It has been awhile but here are me an my pawsies...
just hangin out in some evening sunbeams.
When mom got home from work today she found this guy on the front porch.
The lizard was moving a bit slow and sat on mom's hand for quite awhile - long enough for mom to fumble for her phone, enter the pass code to unlock it, and then take this pic-sher! She thought he looked a bit injured, maybe from a neighborhood kitty.
We don't think that is fair! I mean, if we can't get outside to get the lizards in our yard, no-kitty should!
Oh, and if you're wonderin if mom brought it inside for us to, um, take care of and nurse back to health, she didn't. Instead she put him in a safe spot on a ledge on our porch.
Mom wasn't sure if he was gonna end up surviving but she checked on him a bit ago and he was gone. Hopefully he will be ok.
Have a great Toesday, everybuddy!

Yeah, it's me again...Hollie!
I don't know if you've noticed but I get more house time now.
Smidgen, Minnie, and I do ok.
You may also have noticed by these pic-shers that I'm learning the ropes and fitting in all right.
Okay...I'm gonna get back to my Easy Sunday now...
Have a good one, everybuddy!

This was the scene that greeted mom as she came through the front door yesterday...
Mom had left the bag on top of the box you see in the back ground. She completely forgot about the little snack pie inside.
Yes, that would actually be a chocolate pie.
Not to worry - nobuddy is the worse for wear.
Pulling up the files, we have our possible suspects:
Mischievous Minnie: Trouble is her middle name, not to mention her "priors".
Sly Smidge: not usually the one to instigate.
And even this guy had opportunity:
Wonderful Wriggley: really, could this Lab do anything wrong?
Mom may never really know.
Though that phrase came up once again..."it's coming out of your dinner"...
Why do you look at me especially when you say that?

What's this about Meezer Colors Monday?
I don't get to post very often any more and here is a day that was made for me and I almost missed it!
Now mom calls all of us mutts but it is clear that I have some Siamese in my background. One day when we were at the v-e-t, the receptionist person called me a Lynx Point - that is a tabby cat with the color points, also called a Tabby Point Siamese.
My body color has darkened over the years.
This is what I looked like as a kitten:
Even though I don't say much here on the blog, I do like to talk a lot.
ahem...I seem to be at a loss for words now...
er...have a great week, everybuddy!

I'm finally getting to enjoy this Easy Sunday.
This was my birthday weekend. It all started on Friday. I turned thirteen (!!!)
I'm a teenager! Do you believe it?
On my walk with mom on Friday night, we saw this cute little black and white striped kitty cat. Ok...maybe I didn't actually see it...mom and I were playing a bit of fetch and as I was bringing the ball back to her, the little fella crossed ahead of mom but behind me. I just remember mom hastily putting my leash back on and our game coming to an end...
On Saturday morning, I took mom on our usual long walk around the fields by our house. I always take along one of my bumpers for some play time too. At one point on our walk, mom had dropped my bumper as we were walking (she does that a lot) and sent me back to get it. It was a long ways away and when I had gone out about a couple hundred feet and still didn't see it, I stopped and looked back to mom for help. She told me to wait and as she was walking towards me, a bunny broke cover in the field to my left, maybe as close as twenty feet. All this time I'd been dragging a long line but mom was not holding on to it. Mom made a quick move to get ahold of the line. Me? Well, I looked at the rabbit. Then I looked at mom. But I didn't move. I scored a lot of treats for that!
Well, she did tell me to wait, after all.
A bit later on Saturday, I had to have a bath. Then mom packed my lunch box for an overnight stay at camp. It would seem that our town was
having it's annual Pioneer Day celebrations complete with fireworks celebrating my birthday weekend with fireworks. I wish they would've asked cause I don't really like fireworks. Instead, though, mom booked the Luxury Pampered Pet Plus arranged a super deluxe adventure package for me at camp, complete with a lot of fun activities. Mom told everybuddy there that it was my birthday and they gave me a lot of special attention.
When I got home today, mom had pupcakes for me!
mmm...red velvet pupcakes with yogurt frosting!
It sure is good to be home now and relaxing...'cept mom isn't sitting still and I have to follow her around and make sure she doesn't leave me again.
Uh oh, she's up again...I gotta go...
Hope everybuddy had a fun weekend too!

Mom has been doing a good job keeping
up with our TV payments our bird feeders filled up so we have some pretty good programs to watch on the big screen TV window.
Of course we have the usual Finch and Sparrow programs. But we've even had some special shows with Brown Headed Cow Birds, Brewer's Blackbirds, and even Red Wing Blackbirds!
We do get some crazy programs though.
Like this one...
It's really pretty boring, what with the action being so slow an all...
We can also watch "My Neighbor the Pigeon" from Hollie's room...
And if that isn't enough, this is the time of year for a new season on the Lizard Channel to start!
But check out this pawsome show we caught this morning...
Do you see what I'm watching?
"My Favorite Mousie"
Have a great weekend everybuddy!

Mom was gone for a few days last week on a work trip.
Wriggley was packed off to camp and us kitties were left home in charge of the house.
Would you believe that when mom leaves like this and sends Wriggley to camp, she goes and closes up
his crate my super deluxe condo lounge?!?
Well, mom and Wriggley returned home Caturday afternoon.
Just in time for Easy Sunday, as you've proly noticed.
Have a great week, everybuddy!
