Yello!
It has been awhile but here are me an my pawsies...
just hangin out in some evening sunbeams.
When mom got home from work today she found this guy on the front porch.
The lizard was moving a bit slow and sat on mom's hand for quite awhile - long enough for mom to fumble for her phone, enter the pass code to unlock it, and then take this pic-sher! She thought he looked a bit injured, maybe from a neighborhood kitty.
We don't think that is fair! I mean, if we can't get outside to get the lizards in our yard, no-kitty should!
Oh, and if you're wonderin if mom brought it inside for us to, um, take care of and nurse back to health, she didn't. Instead she put him in a safe spot on a ledge on our porch.
Mom wasn't sure if he was gonna end up surviving but she checked on him a bit ago and he was gone. Hopefully he will be ok.
Have a great Toesday, everybuddy!
OH!! The unfairness of it all. Those toes were MADE for soothing piercings, um, we mean pats.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I've found lizards IN my house on THREE separate occasions? And each time my human did not let me keep it! She is an awful spoilsport.
ReplyDeleteAshton caught a lizard in the house one morning last month and then lost it under the head peep's bed. She spent the whole day thinking she was going to be afraid to go to bed for fear of finding it under the sheets, but we dispatched it and showed it to her when she got home. We highly recommend lizards as self-propelled toys.
ReplyDeleteSheesh, you'd think if she caught that lizard, she coulda brought it inside for you. Nice paws.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a big lizard!
ReplyDeleteI agree, if you can't have him, no-kitty should!
My mom goes all SQUEE-crazy over your toes!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your mom didn't let you ... help the lizard! The nerve!
Cammie!
That was sure nice of your mom to let that lizard go, Minnie. But not fair that she didn't bring it in for all of you!
ReplyDeleteWe love your pretty toesies!
