Nesting

The lady let me have her old puffy jacket as a bed in my closet, so I'd have a comfy place to hide.  Yeah, I guess it was ok.  But I thought my nest needed a little bit more.

So I pulled this other jacket off the hanger.  Now my nest is softer and cozier.  It's not like the lady wears that jacket anyways.

And then as the lady was poking around more in my closet, she saw another coat that she said she thought for sure she had covered in a plastic bag.

Um...yeah...about that...well, I needed it for part of my nest too.

The lady also cleared off a bit of shelf space in my closet.

I'm not sure if I can make the jump.

So I'm just think about it for a bit...
um...have a nice Sunday, everybuddy!

  2. OHH nice closet nest!
As a professional jumper I can safely say that yes, you should think first about the jump. Then calculate. My favorite is to trick a Mommy into holding me while walking by an area I want, then jump from their arms. Mommies aren't so keen on the idea.

If they'd ask, I'd tell them WHY I wanted "up!"

  3. Humans mean well, but we kitties have to make an extra effort to arrange things the way we really want!

  7. That looks like a great nest!

It's a good idea to think about a jump before you make it. Ashton doesn't jump hardly at all (no depth perception) but everybody else here has made some less-than-advisable jumps. Better to think about it a few minutes before doing something undignified when the camera is lurking!
