These are not a very good pic-shers (Mom!) but can you tell that one nail is not as pointy as the others?

I like to chew on that toe and nail more than any other. I'm not sure why I do.  I'm not sure I'd say even if I did know...a girl-cat hasta have her mystery!  Hope you have a tastey toe...sday!  hee hee!

Easy on a Sunday

It’s harvest time, so yesterday we lost mom to another Caturday morning of work. When she got home her clothes were all stinky and dirty. But you know what? I love it after she’s walked in her stinky squash plants! I love the smell and I love to rub all over her dirty jeans.

mmmmmmmm.....

I purr and purr... ::whispers:: I even drool, I'm so happy

aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh...

So last week on Tuesday it was like 107 degrees F here. Yow! But yesterday the temps were only in the high 70’s-low 80’s. Sweet! I was outside for a bit in the afternoon. Then, an introoder cat tried to come into MY yard!  I yelled and screamed at it to go away. Suddenly mom was right there to have me come inside – but the 'trooder cat went away! Hah!

We spent most of yesterday afternoon relaxing, enjoying the cool weather, and we’ll probably do more of the same today. Hope efurryone is having a nice, cool, weekend too!

Oh, hi!  I keep thinking it's Toesday.  What's that?  It is!?!  Great!  Well, I was kinda thinkin you might be tired o' lookin at my paws.  So I'm gonna show you Smidgen's pawsies!

Easy Sunday

It has been a beautiful weekend here, though the hots are 'sposed to be coming back soon.  We're all taking it easy.  Today I helped mom with her crossword puzzle.

Then I took a nap with my teddy bear.

Thankful Thursday

So mom came home early on Toesday and lookit!  She had our special shopping bag - and it was full -  of fudz - for us!!!

hmmm what have we got here...

I knew something was up - that mom "just being home early with our shopping" was too good to be true.  So I took efurryone's advice... and hid!!!  Ha!  You can't get me now!

::Sigh:: Yes, I had my not-much-of-a-joy ride... to the V-E-T. What can I say? There was no escape. I was tricked and captured in the PTU! Anywho, I had to have my blood retake a test.  About a month ago I was at the V-E-T to have my teefs cleaned and my blood did not pass the glucose test. I was very scared that day... my blood included! They wanted to check me again to be sure I didn't have dyed beadies, whatever that is.  And I don't!

I still have a problem in my mouf and it'll hurt so I'm not always wanting to eat much. Tho, I still gained a bit of weight! Mom was relieved.

We are all thankful for our fudz and our healths. We are sad tho that there are kitties that don't feel too good right now and that some have even crossed the Bridge. We are purring purrs of comfort to those not feeling well and to the families who have lost beloved family members.

Mmmph.  Oh, hi!  I'm just playin' wif my favorite new toy.

It's called a cat catcher and they aren't kiddin'.  I'm always gettin' caught an I don't wanna let go.  Mom's kinda afraid I'm gonna eat the little mousie on the end!  ::groan::  Pawrents!  But check out my action pawsies today!

Uneasy Sunday

So yesterday mom did her shopping...for her food.  She brought nothing back for us.  Oh, sure, there were sweet potatoes in the bag for the dog, but what about us?  She says we have plenty.  We're not so sure.

And we even saw her taking our treats to use for training treats for the dog!  The nerve!

And to top it all off, the ptu suddenly has a more prominent location in my room.  It is usually under my window sill as a convenient step up.

This means "carrides" are imminent...

Caturday Happenings

Mom has been quite busy with work and she had to work again this Caturday.  Well, on the plus side, we got breakfast on time - gotta have priorities!

She did some shopping.  Smidgen inspected the goods. 

What's that you say? There is no food in those bags for us!?! We have enough food until next week? Are you sure???   {{{worries}}}

 
 
 
 
 

At least we have some new grass to noms.  It's a little small yet but mom put it down and we can't resist!

So we're just having a relaxing weekend.  Mom has a new flashy box so we're trying to lay low...

World Cat Day 2010

Happy World Cat Day!

We are so excited - this is our first time celebratin'.  We aren't really sure what to expect and are hoping for demanding extra play times an treats an just fun all around.

Mom made a little collage of some favorite photos of us.

Caturday Afternoon

We sure are enjoying our Caturday and hope everycat is too. Mom had to work for a bit this morning. That was ok with us ‘cause it meant we got breakfast at the usual time – no sleepin’ in! We ate an napped the morning away.

Mom came home and did some yard chores in the front yard this week. After that Pip finally got some outside time.

Smidgen just kept on nappin’

We got a new toy and enjoyed a bit of play time.

Mom had us sort through our old toys, the ones we don’t play with anymore, and the ones that are in good shape yet, we’re gonna donate. Mom washed them up for us.

Now we’re ready for some more nappin, gotta rest up for dinner time!

To quote Snoopy: “There is always someone to remind you of the stupid things you did when you were young.”  Or something like that.

This is something I did when I was young and tho it isn’t really stupid, it is kinda silly…and mom got proof on the movie box ::sigh::…

The crazy thing is, I don’t do it anymore. I guess I’m mature now…hey, I heard that snigger!

These aren’t very good pics cause they were scanned, but mom told me about this silly thing Pip used ta do:

She’d hide under the little rugs and attack or else she’d hid under the bed and she and mom played “footsie.” Or should that be pawsie?

Pip doesn’t do that anymore. Course, she’s kind of a curmudgeon now…woops ::whispers:: hang on…I think I hear her coming…gotta run – have a great weekend efurryone!
