Mom had quite a few days off over the holidays. One thing that she likes to do, especially when the weather is crummy, is work on jigsaw puzzles. I like to help.
Lookit all of these fun shaped toys interestingly shaped toys puzzle pieces!
Mom doesn't have a good place to spread everything out so she works on small sections at a time and she was trying out working on pieces of felt. She thought this might make it easier for her to keep me out of the way me to help her.
Here mom, I think this is the piece you were lookin for!
Puzzle building is a fun pastime!
What?
For some reason mom picked everything up and went to work in another room...I'm not sure why...she just doesn't appreciate all the help us kitties are to her!
I went back to my storm watch...
Whatever!
That looks like such fun. Äiti has been given boxlike that but it is SHUT and we are itching to get in. We think it has 1000 toys inside - I can't wait to hide them in many different places. But you were actually trying to help put the picture together - you star!
ReplyDeleteOh, those pictures seriously cracked me up!! They always like to be in the middle of everything, don't they? I used to do beading and Saffy would have to park herself in the middle of everything and "help." Bless them.
ReplyDeleteOMC! Wot FUN yoo had. We cats are just NOT appreciated enuff.
ReplyDeleteMinnie, we can't believe your mom didn't appreciate your help!
ReplyDeleteMOL!! At first I was afraid that you had gone to the bathroom in that box! MOL!!
ReplyDeleteI think you are an amazing puzzle helper!! I don't have the patience for puzzles so I would let you come over and help me ANYDAY!
This is why our mom stopped doing jigsaw puzzles. :-P
ReplyDeleteOur Mom loves to do jigsaw puzzles too but since there are so very many of us felines here, it is totally useless to even try. She gave that up a long time ago. But they are tons of fun to do. Take care and have a great day.
ReplyDeleteMinnie, you look a bit puzzled in that box. Hee hee!
ReplyDeleteWe used to help our mama with her jigsaw puzzles, also, but she hasn't worked on any for a couple years or more......we can't figure out why!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMinnie, you are totally gorgeous and we loved your pix. We see grass in the last one!!!!!!!
xxxxxxx
Our friends like those puzzles too and their kitty Hannah gets in trouble for trying to help too!!
ReplyDeleteI love puzzles! But my human does not seem to do them anymore. I have no idea why...

Sammy-Joe wants to know if you like carefully touching things with your paw when you find them. Thats what he likes to do! But then he ends up laying on top of them, too!!! :)
ReplyDeleteMinnie, we can clearly see that you were being a huge help with that jigsaw puzzle. We just can't understand why your mom moved to another room! Maybe she wanted to do it herself, without any help. Humans can be funny like that sometimes...
ReplyDeletehaha! Starting the puzzle is always the most difficult. And I see you are just jumping in to help. What a good kitty!
ReplyDeleteLOL -- I really love jigsaw puzzles too, but my cats mess with all the pieces, chew on them, and sleep in the box. I finally gave up and do jigsaw puzzles online now instead.
ReplyDeleteThe Big Thing has a friend who loves those puzzles! He has a whole room of tables to organize them around. He once did a 10,000 piece puzzle that was solid red!
ReplyDeleteThe Big Thing thinks he is nuts! But we say, "Ta each their own toys"...
I love to puzzle too!
ReplyDeleteWe like to help owt too but sometimes the Beans insist in doing things for themselves!
ReplyDeleteHi! Just a quick note to say thanks for reading and commenting Thursday about Sancha. We have some great news to share (hint: it's about Sancha) ... stop by and read our newest post if you have a chance. :)
ReplyDeleteYou help and help and help but your mom does not appreciate it. So typical, isn't it? :-)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she finished the puzzle without you.
We bet working on jigsaw puzzles is fun!!
