Happy Snow Year!

I was on storm-watch first thing this morning when mom got up.

She wondered what I could be so excited about.  This is what I saw:
Snow!

We live in California in the north end of the Sacramento Valley.  In the winter time we get freezing weather, but it's not very often we get the cold combined with a storm such that we get snow.  In my four years, I don't think I've ever seen it.

Sorry about the poor pic-sher quality, mom took this before she had any coffee...

Ok, so it isn't much and we won't be building any snowcats any time soon...
...it looks more impressive on our truck:

Our new year is off to an exciting start all ready!  Yow!

  22. We had so much snow the other day where we live! I bet you wish you were here! The dogs among us ran around like crazy in it, rolled in it, and tried to eat it. (But Sammy-Joe, the kitty among us, didn't want to come out.) There is one bad thing about a lot of snow. When it comes, it is always COOOOOLD outside! Our paws freeze!
